Horizontal Lifelines

Horizontal Lifelines allows a worker to travel on a horizontal plane while providing fall restraint and fall arrest. High Gear is proud to promote the Travesafe System. This system's unique design allows workers to travel unlimited distances with out the need to disconnect and reconnect to the anchorage.

The use of two wire ropes in the system allows for increased safety and ensures that the traveler is perfectly aligned every time it slides over an anchor. So effective is this process that this system can be installed as high as 30ft overhead. Traveler

• The twin lines provide an extra margin of safety over single line operations.
• The use of two wire ropes ensures that the traveler always aligns itself to slide over the intermediate anchors.
• When full load is applied, the traveler jaws close tightly around the twin lines.
• The Travesafe system contains relatively few components compared to other systems.
• The system components can be supplied in galvanized or stainless steel.
• The system can be attached to the wall, floor or ceiling.
• All components of the Travesafe system have an ultimate strength above 5,400lbs.(24 kN.) as required by OSHA, CAL-OSHA and CSA.
